who am i?
my name is elianne and i’ve been a student of symbolism, occultism, and dream interpretation as long as i can remember—my mother is a seer and dream reader, and i grew up listening to her interpret dreams for friends and family. i’ve been lucky to have many beautiful guides on my journey, including my father and an orthodox priest by the name of father maximos. i also wrote my MA thesis on the connections between occult symbolism, jungian dream analysis, and modern poetry, and am currently a phd candidate at the university of waterloo. i found tarot during my master’s studies and have been reading for about 7 years now. i’m also a writer, a teacher of rhetoric, and a consistent & dedicated alchemist intuiting my way through life.

what i am trying to do when i use symbols is to awaken in your unconscious some reaction. i am very conscious of what i am using because symbols can be very dangerous. when we use normal language we can defend ourselves because our society is a linguistic society, a semantic society. but when you start to speak, not with words, but only with images, the people cannot defend themselves.alejandro jodorowsky
