i told you I had some special surprises for you, and the time has come to start revealing them.

as i mentioned on substack and instagram, i have some surprises and things i want to share with you that i’d rather not share directly to a public platform. i want to share them with you because, as the readers of the secret email society, you are the official initiates of this alchemical work, your journey has already begun and i would like to encourage you to keep going by inviting you into my own journey. so, what you read hear will be for your eyes, and the eyes of the assessment takers only.

assessment takers?

yes, beautiful reader, this year, in addition to the gateway we made last year, we have made an alchemical assessment, a short and fun quiz that you can take in 3-5 minutes to find out what alchemical stage you’re in. if you’ve already taken the assessment, you’ll have already received a newsletter similar to this in your inbox, so you can ignore this. but if you ever want to come back and access this post or any of the future secret posts i’ll be sharing, you’ll be able to find them here.

now, allow me to share with you what i’ve been and will be working on over the next few weeks.

as you may already know, i run an annual alchemy program where every autumn, a cohort of students and i take the journey through the alchemical stages together. i teach alchemy through lessons, meditations, crash courses on symbolism and mythology, endless curated resources, lectures, and, most of all, by doing it myself, in front of you all.

this year, i’m turning the work not only onto myself, but onto the program as a whole. 

i’m going back through everything i’ve made, shared, written, and taught so far, deconstructing it, ripping it apart, and putting it back together. and as i do so, i’m going to be extracting little nuggets of gold along the way to give to you and only you for free.

in the following weeks you can expect to get:

and more, all exclusively for your eyes only.

so, without further ado, let me update you on the first thing my team and i have deconstructed and reconstructed:

the alchemy gateway

you may have already taken the gateway last year, or maybe you started it last year and forgot about it. when we made the gateway last year, we didn’t know we’d be making an assessment, and so we made it to be a free, stand-alone mini course that would help introduce people to the world of practical alchemy.

thus, up until today, the gateway was out there in the world inviting everybody into alchemy through the same entrance regardless of which stage they’d landed in, speaking to the person in the black and the person in the yellow as if they’d arrived by the same road, which they had not.

so, we have now restructured it so it meets you where the assessment leaves you, so that when you come out of the assessment with your stage, the gateway takes that stage and shows you immediately what to do with it instead of ignoring it and starting from scratch.

thus, while i begin to go through the course materials of the last few years, and put together some golden offerings to help enrich your journey, i highly recommend checking out the gateway or revisiting it if you started but didn’t continue it.
